Bhola Kumar Paswan is one of the founders of Dalit Sarokar Munch. It was established with initiation of Paswan. Paswan of Kanchanrup Municipality-8 has done MA in sociology.He is also studying in LLB third year at Mahendra Bindeswhari Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj.
Paswan, who is active in the field of dalit rights, was also active in carcass boycott movement. He worked as a dalit activist with ActionAid Nepal from 2003 to 2007 and has been active also as a journalist for the last 16 years.
He has an experience of working with media organizations of district, regional, national and international levels. He has been writing articles for national dailies including Kantipur, Nagarik and Naya Patrika.
Paswan is one of the writers of a book namely "Identity of Dom Community and Changing Lifestyle", in which he was the lead researcher. Coauthor in over a dozen of books on the movements of boycott carcass in Siraha and Saptari and dalit's access in education, Paswan has published two research-based articles in Madhesh Study Journal.
Even within dalits, Paswan has now focused his fact-based advocacy more on Madhesi dalits in Province 2. A recommendation committee was formed led by Paswan to categorize clusters of dalit communities based on population for Police Act and give recommendations and Dalit Empowerment Act. The province government is in the process of endorsing the act as per the suggestions given by the Paswan-led committee.
